Blackguards 2 is a turn based RPG where players follow the story of disgraced noblewoman Cassia as she embarks on a dark and brutal quest to clear her name and take the throne from the one man who imprisoned her…her own husband! They say that revenge is a dish best served cold and nothing screams revenge more than years of wrongful incarceration. The digital version will be available on the PlayStation® Store on 19th September, with the Xbox One boxed retail and digital releases launching on the same day, as scheduled. In North America, the boxed retail edition of Blackguards 2 on PlayStation®4 has been delayed due to a manufacturing issue – a new release date will be announced as soon as it has been confirmed. The digital version is also available now on the PlayStation® Store, with the Xbox One digital version due to arrive on the Xbox Games Store on 19th September.
The retail version will be available as a Limited Day One Edition containing a digital artbook and digital soundtrack revealing the stunning art and haunting melodies which served as inspiration in the creation of Blackguards 2.
